NOTE: The ideal number of students per class averages around 6 to 12 students.

Here’s why:

Small enough for individual attention: Instructors can provide hands-on guidance.

Enough people for interaction: Students can share experiences and learn from each other.

Efficient use of equipment: Most coffee classes involve shared use of espresso machines, grinders, pour-over setups, etc.

With 6–12 students, everyone usually gets a turn without too much waiting.

Class Type Consideration:

• Beginner espresso or latte art: 4–8 students is ideal due to heavy hands-on practice.

• Coffee cupping or tasting: 8–12 works well since it’s more observational and discussion-based.

• For quality experience: Keep the class under 12 learners at best.
